LOW POLY DOG LOW POLY THOUGHTS

For this piece, I wanted to see if I could use a few basic components that I generated with Ai to tell an interesting story. This animation follows a dog’s journey as he leaves his mundane backyard and travels to a world filled with massive iterations of his favorite foods. The entire story is absurd and parallels the ability of AI to create absurd 3D objects.I used blender to create this piece.

NEXT TO NORMAL

Next to Normal was a musical produced by the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale and performed at the University Theater in New Haven. The production was directed by James Flemming. Next to Normal follows the story of Diana, a woman mourning the death of her son and struggling with mental illness. The projection design served as a reflection of Diana’s mental state which changes throughout the production. The projections were largely abstract and ephemeral but also featured the face of the actor who played Gabe. The projections were intended to immerse the audience in the turbulent landscape of Diana’s mind.
